Natick
Natick Dam on the Charles
The Town of Natick is a suburban industrial center located on the upper basin of the Charles and Concord Rivers. The town from its early colonial days was a prime target for development, possessing good agricultural land, fish runs, and water power. By the early 19th century the shoe industry dominated Natick's economy. By 1880, Natick was the third largest shoe production community in the entire country. In modern times Natick has become an industrial Boston-oriented suburban community. For more information click Town of Natick
