Sharon

The Town of Sharon is a town of 16,000 people midway between Boston and Providence Rhode Island . Sharon is the site of Massachusetts Audubon Society's first wildlife sanctuary, 350 acre Lake Massapoag,and Borderland State Park. Despite recent development the town has maintained much of the green space and sparkle that made it a popular summer resort before World War II. Years ago there was a sign at the local railroad station that proclaimed : Sharon is a nice place to live because it's naturally beautiful.
